Here’s what the Milwaukee Bucks roster and depth chart for 2025 look like after a frenzy of moves (2025)

The dust has yet to settle from the annual NBA free-agency chaos, but we have a pretty good sense of what the Milwaukee Bucks roster will look like in 2025-26.

Anything here remains theoretical until signings can become official July 6:

Projected Milwaukee Bucks starters in 2025-26

Giannis Antetokounmpo, forward/center/guard/superstar

He remains the sun around which the rest of the Bucks solar system orbits, not turning 31 years old until December. The organization has made some tough decisions to try to build a winner around their star, including the choice to waive Damian Lillard this year. He has finished top-three in the league's MVP voting each of the past seven seasons (and received some votes the two years before that).

Myles Turner, center

The new acquisition, signed for four years and $107 million, gives the Bucks a big man who can seamlessly replace both the rim-protecting defense and shooting acumen of departing Brook Lopez. He counts as the surprise add of the offseason after 10 years with Indiana.

Kevin Porter Jr., guard

The Bucks don't have many obvious answers at point guard, with Antetokounmpo likely to get his share of ball-handling responsibilities. Porter, who re-signed with the Bucks for two years and $10.5 million, came to the Bucks last year at the trade deadline and resuscitated his turbulent career, and he's still just 25 years old.

Gary Trent Jr., guard

After a strong season with the Bucks last year, particularly in the playoffs, Milwaukee was able to re-sign Trent to a team-friendly deal at two years, $7.5 million. He'll be an essential component of the team's backcourt. In the team's five-game series loss to the Pacers, Trent shot 50% from three-point range, averaging 18.8 points and 2.6 steals per contest.

Kyle Kuzma, forward

Kuzma wasn't the upgrade Bucks fans were hoping for when he was acquired from Washington last year before the trade deadline, and he's likely to return with a price tag of $22 million this season. He was also thrown into a situation that immediately went into flux when Bobby Portis was suspended. Could the Bucks unlock more from Kuzma in his first full season?

Projected members of the Milwaukee Bucks rotation in 2025-26

Last year, 10 players averaged 20 minutes or more per game, including the traded Khris Middleton.

Bobby Portis, forward/center

A staple on the team since its championship run and one of the most popular players on the roster, Portis re-signed for three years and $44 million this offseason. For a team that needs options at center, he's likely to see the floor a ton once again. He averaged 13.9 points and 8.3 rebounds last year.

Taurean Prince, forward

He started 73 of his 80 games played last year for the Bucks, averaging 8.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. He re-signed in Milwaukee on a two-year, $7.1 million deal.

AJ Green, guard

Undrafted out of Northern Iowa, Green has worked his way into an essential role thanks to his ability to hit from deep, shooting north of 40% in all three NBA seasons thus far (including a career-best 42.7% last year).

Gary Harris, guard

Newly signed as a free agent to a two-year deal, the 30-year old figures to provide some three-and-D, although his numbers dipped considerably last year in Orlando.

Other members of the Bucks bench in 2025-26

Andre Jackson Jr., guard

The defense-savvy third-year player started 43 games last year but also saw his minutes dwindle significantly as the year went on. Is there still a place for him in the Bucks regular rotation? It will hinge on if he can become productive enough on offense.

Jericho Sims, forward/center

He'll turn 27 in October and just re-signed for two more seasons after the Bucks acquired the defensive-specialist big man at last year's deadline.

Chris Livingston, forward

He'll turn 22 shortly before the season, and there's still some upside potential for the second-round draft pick in 2023. He has 42 games of NBA experience.

Tyler Smith, forward

Not yet 21 years old, Smith was drafted as a project in the second round in 2024, and the 6-11 big man remains an intriguing long-term option.

Three names to know who may or may not play for Milwaukee in 2025-26

The Bucks still have two unclaimed roster spots available and, for now, these three guys are in Milwaukee's orbit, as well.

Ryan Rollins, guard

He was a mini-revelation last year and wound up starting 19 games, but he's expected to have his qualifying offer rescinded in order to make salary-cap room for Turner's official signing. That makes Rollins an unrestricted free agent but doesn't entirely rule out a return. Milwaukee, which doesn't have a ton of point-guard options, could still bring him back.

Bogoljub Marković, forward

The Bucks' 2025 second-round draft pick is expected to spend the season in Europe, which would allow the team to sign another veteran free agent at a minimum salary.

Vasilije Micić, guard

The 31-year-old has ample experience outside the NBA and a couple of years within the league. He was acquired from the Hornets in exchange for Pat Connaughton, but it's expected the Bucks will buy him out. Milwaukee needed to move Connaughton's contract to afford its new roster.

Two-way players for the Milwaukee Bucks in 2025-26

These names are always subject to change.

  • Jamaree Bouyea, guard. He played in five games for the Bucks last year as a two-way player.
  • Pete Nance, forward. The 6-11 big man played in six games for the Bucks last year as a two-way player.
  • Mark Sears, guard. The undrafted All-American out of Alabama was expected to sign a two-way deal with the Bucks.
