Your $200 non-refundable enrollment deposit and $2 convenience fee is due no later than May 1 for the summer and fall semesters, and December 1 for the spring semester. Traditional dorms are usually the most budget-friendly option. Costs for a shared double room can range from $2,600 to $3,400 per semester (Fall and Spring). Suite-style rooms, which typically include a shared living area and bathroom, are a bit more expensive, ranging from $3,000 to $4,300 per semester.

All first-year students are automatically considered for a merit-based scholarship. There is a scholarship application process for transfer students. Scholarships are offered to students who meet academic performance criteria.

Acceptable Forms of Payment

For mailed payments, include the student's name and UCF ID on checks and money orders, and mail them to the address below. UCF does not accept cash payments for tuition and fees. E-check and credit card payments may be made online by logging into myUCF (https://my.ucf.edu).

When you apply for housing, you are required to make a prepayment for each housing agreement you submit. The prepayment amount is then put towards the rent of the first semester of that agreement. The prepayment for summer-only housing is $100. The prepayment for an agreement starting in fall is $250.

Loans for school are generally divided up between each semester you attend school and the amount you receive is more dependable. Roughly 45% of students receive some type of school-based grant from UCF Financial Aid. On average, those students receive a little over $2,000 from the school.
